What We Collect

When you subscribe to 247 Alerts, we collect only what is necessary to deliver your alerts:

• Email address — required to send you alerts
• Name — optional, used for personalization in emails
• Minimum severity preference — the alert threshold you select (Critical / High / Medium / All)
• Vendor/product interests — the technology vendors you select for targeted alerts

We do not collect IP addresses, device fingerprints, browsing behavior, or any information beyond the above.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to send you security alert notifications matching your preferences. Specifically:

• Delivering email alerts filtered to your selected severity level and vendor interests
• Sending one-time subscription confirmation emails
• Sending one-time unsubscribe confirmation emails

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, analytics, or any secondary purpose.

Lawful Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), our lawful basis for processing your personal data is your explicit consent — given when you subscribe and confirmed via email. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, license, or share your personal information with any third parties. We use no third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or marketing platforms.

The only infrastructure that processes your data is our own server hosted in the United States. No cloud-based email service providers or CRMs are used.

Data Retention

Your subscriber record is retained for as long as you remain subscribed. Upon unsubscription, your email address, name, and all associated preferences are permanently deleted immediately. We do not archive removed subscriber data.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to unsubscribe — every alert email contains a one-click unsubscribe link; your data is deleted immediately
• Right of access — you may request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Right of erasure — you may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@247alerts.net
• Right to correction — if any data we hold is inaccurate, contact us to correct it

To exercise any right, email privacy@247alerts.net. We will respond within 30 days.

CAN-SPAM Compliance

All alert emails sent by 247 Alerts comply with the US CAN-SPAM Act. Every email includes:

• A clear identification of the sender (247 Alerts)
• A valid physical mailing address: Axiom Cyber Research, LLC, Baltimore, MD 21201, USA
• A clear and functional one-click unsubscribe link
• Non-deceptive subject lines that accurately reflect alert content

Data Security

All data is transmitted over TLS (HTTPS). Subscriber data is stored in an encrypted-at-rest SQLite database on a hardened server with restricted access. We follow industry-standard security practices and conduct periodic security reviews.

Children's Privacy

247 Alerts is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has subscribed, contact us immediately at privacy@247alerts.net.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and — for significant changes — notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days in advance.
